Summer Program

Investing in Me
For girls, ages 13-16 (Year 9-12), who want to lead themselves.

What will your teen be doing this Summer?

Summer is that time kids get to rest from a long stay in school, celebrate their wins and bond with family.

We love that.

We also love that Summer can be the time to invest in growth, learning new skills, especially essential skills the schools don’t focus on yet critical for life

To make the most of Summer, we created a free “My Summer Plan Guide“- a guide and worksheet that helps you, your tween and teen intentionally make plans and achieve them.

We created the parents, boys and girls edition. Find yours here.

Furthermore, we host girls at Summer on the Hub with Brighter Girls on our Girl’s Hub to learn and connect while having fun in Summer.

What it’s all about

Summer on the Hub is the Shine Bright Girls Hub summer program, a safe space and online learning girl community for girls ages 13 -16. We focus on life skills education, mentoring and holding important conversations and engagements critical to girls becoming their highest version and being equipped for the real world. This is what we deliver at Brighter Girls through our signature Girl community – Shine Bright Girls Hub.

Testimonials

Why your teen should attend

As your teen goes through adolescence, she comes into her own, finding who she is and already making critical decisions able to influence her life’s trajectory. Our goal is to give her the right skills, tools, and support to make healthy and value-based choices.

Evidence-based surveys also imply that schools do not teach the non-cognitive skills employers need in the workplace or those required to thrive in the real world. Why wait for a child to struggle or make avoidable mistakes in the future when she can learn and practice these critical life skills now. Our goal is to bridge this gap and the Summer on the Hub will ensure this.
