Workshops

This is our community intervention of 6 weeks outreach to public schools.

At Brighter Girls, we seek to bridge the divide that exists between privileged girls and the less privileged. This is firmly anchored on our belief that every girl irrespective of her background, race, or privilege carries seeds of possibilities within her and if she is given the right tool, she will reach her highest potential.

We take the same BGLI program to public schools and rural communities in a narrative they can relate with. Our goal here is to spark the fire for aspiring, dreaming and reaching for in every girl, so one day, she can become the dreams she once had and be another girl’s inspiration.

Girls will learn 

• They have the capacity to dream and become their dreams
• The numerous opportunities available to them to pursue their dreams
• How to overcome their fears and take on positive actions
• Their bodies is theirs and their responsibility to it
• What healthy relationships are
• How to make healthy sexual choices
• And more

How we run

We teach and mentor 50 girls over a period of 6 weeks.

• They learn through games, teaching sessions, role playing and other activities we engage.
• They girls are given worksheets; work notes and also take home assignment through our duration of stay.
•  They also get snacks all through the program. Woohoo!
